A Camphill coworker since 1982 and a member of the Camphill Association Coordinators Group. Simon lives in Newton Dee Community, Aberdeen, is active in Camphill Scotland  and has been a Foundation trustee since 1992.

Active in senior management in the banking and finance world for over thirty-five years and a Foundation trustee since 2002, David has an adult daughter with special needs who lives in a Camphill community in N. Ireland.

Sally has an adult son with special needs who grew up in Camphill communities in Scotland. An active supporter of Camphill for many years, she is the Edinburgh & Borders visitor for the Henry Smith Charity and is a recipient of the honours LVO and CVO.

A trustee since 2005, Sandra with husband Alan has been involved in Camphill since 1986, first as a parent and later in management committees and international board meetings, including founding the England/Wales 'Parents & Friends of Camphill' in 1993. 

John's daughter with special needs was educated in Camphill in Scotland. He was a founder trustee of the Thomas Weihs Trust in 1984 and has made a valuable contribution through his expertise as a solicitor (now retired) and his insight as a long-term friend of Camphill.

Peter joined Camphill in 1975 and lived and worked for thirty-three years in the Sheiling School Thornbury in education, care, training and management roles. He has been Secretary of the international Camphill Movement Group and also of the Camphill Association UK & Ireland.

Rainer Reinardy

Trustee and Director

A long-term Camphill coworker and trustee of the Foundation, Rainer lived and worked  for many years in the Camphill Rudolf Steiner Schools in Aberdeen and now in Newton Dee Community. A former Chairman of Camphill Village Trust.

Christopher Taylor


A long-term Camphill coworker, mainly in Ireland, Chris now lives and works in Carrick-on-Suir Community, Co. Tipperary, and is involved in the associative and mutually supportive activities of the Irish communities.

Helen Cherry

New Trustee 2013

Helen is the parent of an adult resident in Loch Arthur Community. She has nearly 50 years experience of experience in the voluntary sector in Scotland, latterly employed by the Scottish Society for Voluntary Organisations as director for rural affairs.

Nicola Swaffield

Nicola is the parent of a young adult son who has been a student and resident in Camphill communities in England.

Gillian Brand

Gillian is a long-term Camphill coworker with over 40 years experience in the UK and South Africa, and co-founder of The Mount Community in East Sussex.
