Tributes to a founding trustee who has died

Rob van Duin, Holywood, Northern Ireland

The Trustees of Camphill Foundation UK & Ireland have expressed their gratitude for Rob's immense contribution to the Foundation over the years as a founding member. Rob died on Good Friday, age 63, after a short but very serious illness. His wife Veronika, and their children Marty and Rachel were with him when he passed away. At a young age Rob came to Camphill Community Glencraig as a co-worker, and there he met and married Veronika, and spent many more years as store keeper, house father and doing various other tasks. The family spent some time outside Camphill with their family in England, but returned to Glencraig in the eighties for another number of years, spent some time in Dunshane, and again returned to Glencraig before taking on Camphill Holywood, making it into a thriving and lively community. He will be sorely missed.
